Technical Writing Sample
In this project, I wrote a manual for the audio processing software Praat for undergraduate research assistants. The software interface was (at the time of writing the manual) not the most intuitive and included no instructions or tutorials. Therefore, I tried to clarify the basic functions and included screenshots to guide the user.
This project was created to guide undergraduates through editing short audio clips (5-10 seconds) to fit into experiments made in the software Psychopy.
Therefore, the instructions are specific to this purpose.
These excerpts showcase the use of precise instructions, warnings to avoid common problems, and pictures to guide the user through the process.
